Dogs at the campsite

Of course, dogs need a vacation too – bring them along to Bjerregaard Camping. Dogs are very welcome at Bjerregaard Camping, and the nature of West Jutland is a perfect playground for the 4 legged ones. The North Sea is a 10-minute walk from the campsite, and it’s just 8 km to a lovely dog forest in Blåbjerg Klitplantage.

The locations of the pitches are very varied in terms of views, shelter, tranquility, etc.

When you arrive, you can – at no extra charge – change your seat number if you wish. (Of course, this requires that the seat you want is available and the change must be made at check-in).

Free internet

Free internet is available for all our guests. You can connect to our internet system in almost the entire campsite – some disruptions may occur. The system can be used on all media – such as laptops, smartphones and tablets.

A fiber network has also been installed in part of the site and the connection in and around the pavilion is now even faster and more stable than the network around the site. This access is also free of charge.

Charging an electric car

It’s about 400 meters to the nearest fast charger so you can charge your car.

Payment can be made by credit card etc.

It is NOT allowed to charge the car on the campsite’s electricity grid, as this will overload it.

Defibrillator

Our defibrillator is located in the kitchen in the service building.

We hope it won’t be needed, but we’d like to have it nearby in case of an accident.

Sustainable camping

As part of the site’s focus on sustainability, we have in recent years taken a number of initiatives for the environment and the green transition:

  • The site’s electricity consumption is produced 100% from renewable energy sources such as wind, hydro, solar and biomass
  • The hot water in all showers and the communal kitchen is partially heated by solar heating.
  • All waste is sorted– Click here for instructions
  • 80% of all light sources on site are LED – and the goal is to reach 100%.
  • Water-saving measures have been implemented.
