What’s on at the campsite

At Bjerregaard Camping, life moves at a calm pace. Guests come together around play, small activities and cosy moments – all right outside your door.
The activities are simple and informal, naturally creating a sense of community across generations.
Beach volleyball
On sunny days, kids, teens and adults gather at the beach volleyball court. It’s an informal activity where everyone can join in – whether for a relaxed match or a more energetic game in the sand.
Table tennis
A meeting point for young and old alike. Table tennis is one of the activities that brings the most laughs and great moments, and equipment can be borrowed at reception.
Playground
The playground is the family’s natural meeting place. Here, children quickly make new friends and the hours fly by in play, while adults can relax nearby.
The beach
The small beach by the fjord offers child-friendly swimming. The water is very shallow and much calmer than the roaring North Sea.
Cosiness and community
Fire pit
As evening falls, many guests gather around the campfire area. This is where the holiday finds its own special calm – with warm embers, marshmallows and that classic camping atmosphere.
On the water – right from the campsite
Canoe and kayak
The campsite offers canoe and kayak rental, so you can head out on the water directly from the area. Ringkøbing Fjord’s shallow, calm water makes it a safe experience for both children and adults. A life jacket is always included.
SUP – Stand Up Paddle
SUP is a popular activity, and the fjord offers perfect conditions for beginners and families. Equipment is rented on site, and a life jacket is included.
Windsurfing and kitesurfing
Ringkøbing Fjord has steady wind conditions, shallow water and plenty of space – ideal for both windsurfers and kitesurfers. Both beginners and experienced riders use the fjord as a training area.

Indoor swimming pool with facilities for the whole family. A great choice on days when the weather doesn’t invite outdoor activities.
Segway Hvide Sande
Option for a guided Segway tour. A fun activity suitable for both children and adults.
Fitness center and indoor cycling
Hvide Sande The indoor gym is located approximately 15 km from Bjerregaard Camping. Tickets can be bought online or at the payment machine in the hall. Day ticket € 6,94 per person.

A seasonal phenomenon that attracts both locals and visitors. A great place to try fishing for the first time, or as a cosy family activity.

At the campsite, we offer rental of both canoes and sit-on-top kayaks.
Life jackets are included and must always be worn. See current prices or ask at reception.
SUP – Stand Up Paddle

SUP is one of the most popular activities on the fjord. The shallow water and calm conditions make it easy to get started – even if you’ve never tried it before.
